Hi! I’m Alyson Levine, founder of Hands Down Cookies.

Baking cookies has been my passion for as long as I can remember. From flipping through recipe books, to experimenting with ingredients, and discovering the science behind the perfect cookie. Over the years, I’ve tweaked countless chocolate chip and recipes, chasing that warm, gooey, straight-from-the-oven perfection.

During the pandemic, I started sharing that passion through a small cookie dough business from my home kitchen. It was a way to bring comfort to neighbors and friends during a difficult time. That little dough business continued to grow, and now we have a brick-and-mortar bakery here in New Jersey, where we bake fresh throughout the day and enjoy connecting with our customers in person.

At Hands Down, we keep things simple on purpose. Every batch is made from scratch, completely nut-free, and designed for the proper cookie experience—warm, gooey, and unforgettable. As a local small business, we’re proud to give back to our community and share more than just cookies—we’re baking memories, one batch at a time.
